This identity was inspired by nostalgic summer days, warm sunsets and the carefree feeling of being near the water. De Hoornse Plas has been a beloved local spot in Groningen since 1973 — a place to swim, relax, and spend time together. That energy is captured in the branding.
The visual style combines retro shapes, sun-kissed colors and playful illustrations into a logo system that works across everything — from apparel and signage to posters, flags and drinkware. The result is a sunny, welcoming identity that feels both fun and timeless.
From logo and pattern design to print materials and mockups — this project is all about capturing the laid-back joy of a perfect summer by the lake.
